Once in awhile you find a great song that you just can’t wait to edit with… Sometimes (pretty much all the time) music makes the movie. Good video is all well and good but without a great soundtrack it just doesn’t matter. I ran across this song by Curtis Peoples earlier this week and didn’t even wait a whole day to use it. Elizabeth & Manuel are a wonderful couple who didn’t let the rain spoil their special day. They stayed out in it before we even made it thru the Ceremony and I was amazed by their dedication to getting fantastic pictures and video. All in all it was an incredible day and I can’t wait to share it with you… Congratulations to Elizabeth & Manuel! You guys are awesome! Special shout out to Linczak Photography who was out there in the rain with us :)

Ashley & Aaron are awesome… It’s as simple as that. You would be hard pressed to find a cooler couple than these two. We had an absolute blast hanging out with them on their special day. Trinity is a beautiful church and after hanging around the Arena District in the afternoon we made our way up to Bridgewater. As I’ve expressed before my gift is for visual storytelling so I’m going to stop typing now and just show you the rest of the story… enjoy :)

I think the main problem with the blog is that I have to write something… I am much more of a visual storyteller than a writer. Each second of our video contains 24 individual pictures… multiply that by a picture is worth a thousand words and that comes to roughly 5.8 million words in each of our music videos. So you can see my hesitation in actually writing something on these blog posts. This video is from one of our new packages that is focused more around the short highlight type video. We’ve found that a lot of couples love the Music Video product but don’t necessarily need the long form video that we normally produce with it. Erica & Morgan are a great couple and were such a blast to hang out with. Add in a couple amazing venues and you have the recipe for a great story… enjoy…

This may have been the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever been to in my life… and that is saying something :) Two of the best venues in Columbus filled with the most amazing flowers you’ve ever seen. Words can’t do it justice so again I’ll dispense with all the typing and get right to the video. Congratulations to Meg & Luc!!! Again we have been very slack with adding new posts to the blog but tonight we are going all out… This will be the first of many this evening so you can see what we’ve been up to lately. Making weddings films is one of the coolest jobs there has ever been. We get to spend most Saturdays with amazing couples and get an inside look at the biggest day of their lives thus far. Rather than type on and on about Katie & Ryan’s incredible day, I’ll just get right to the video. If a picture is worth a thousand words then what is one of our short videos worth? Stephanie & Grant | The Midland Theatre

It has been a long time since our last post… We’ve been very active on Facebook over the winter but the blog gone by the wayside. Stephanie & Grant are cool couple.. possibly the coolest ever ;) We have spent a lot of time at the Midland Theatre in Newark over the years filming The Nutcracker Ballet every Thanksgiving weekend. It was only the second wedding ever at the Midland so we felt privileged to be a part of it. The theme was Old Hollywood complete with the mustaches, slick hair & a Model T. Stephanie & Grant put so much personality to this wedding that words wouldn’t do it justice… so.. I’ll let the video speak for itself. Congratulations to Stephanie & Grant!!

We had a great time hanging out with Jennifer & Erik during their big day. They were both so relaxed and took the time to enjoy the day and enjoy each other. They are both big time Blue Jackets fans so we spent some time around the Arena that night which fittingly was a game night. Kendra+James | Circleville

You might not think of Circleville as a cool place to film but I beg to differ :) The courthouse is amazing and there are so many cool alleys & unique buildings. Kendra & James are a great couple and were amazing to work with. I felt right at home hanging out with them as we drove around Circleville looking for some cool spots. They’ve been very patient in waiting for their Music Video so without any further delay… enjoy :)

hmm… what can I say about this one? This wedding had more personality than I have ever seen. From the confetti cannons to the sparkler tunnel exit to the awesome choreographed Bridal Party Michael Jackson dance… this wedding was special. They even had an awesome date.. 10.10.10 … Dallas & Michelle are an amazing couple and we felt privileged to play a small role in capturing their big day. We just hope that this video conveys even a small portion of the personality that overflowed during their wedding. Congratulations to Michelle & Dallas! You guys are awesome!

I know the first question you’ll have after watching this video is “where is that venue”? The Reception was at Carillon Historical Park in Dayton. You will have a hard time finding a more unique venue. Surrounded by historical landmarks Bethany & Alan had their first dance overlooking the Reception venue. It was an amazing day and we enjoyed every moment. We were even able to make a quick stop at the Dayton Art Institute. Congratulations to Bethany & Alan and we wish you all the best in your new life together!!!
